Course Aims

To enable participants to:

Acquaint themselves with the conditions, pillars and Fiqh of Khutbah

2

Facilitate and lead Jumu'ah prayer with full knowledge of Jumu'ah Jamat prayer requirements

Course Learning Outcomes

At the end of the course participants should have:

Equip themselves to deliver an effective Khutbah with the knowledge of eligibility.

Understand the Fiqh, Pillars and conditions of Khutbah and requirements of Tilawah.

Acquire full knowledge of Fiqh of Jumu'ah and Jamat prayer from a Hanafi and comparative Fiqh perspective

Understand the required level of correct recitation of the Quran with Tajweed rules through assessment and feedback.

5

Deliver an engaging, relevant and uplifting Khutbah and lead the Jumu'ah prayer in the correct manner.

Fahimul Anam

Sheikh Fahim has graduated with a MA in Teaching & Learning and a Bachelors degree in Business Studies and Marketing from London. He also completed a Diploma in Arabic and a Bachelors degree in Usul-ad-Din and Usul-al-Fiqh in Arabic Medium from the European Institute of Islamic Sciences in France. While studying Shariah he also completed an intensive Tajweed course on Ibn al-Jazari, a classical Tajweed text, and studies Tajweed extensively under a number of Tajweed scholars.
